• 48mm overall slab thickness – around 10% thicker than many standard composite doors.

• Solid hardwood block core (around 44mm) completely encapsulated in a tough plastic edge band and two thermoplastic (ABS) skins.

High-Security Locking as Standard

Ultion 3-Star Cylinder

Every Solidor is designed to work with the Ultion 3 (or Ultion Plus) high-security cylinder*, one of the most advanced domestic locks on the market. 

Key points:

• 3-star TS007 rating and Sold Secure Diamond-tested anti-snap cylinder. 

• “Lockdown mode” – the lock can sense an attack and activate an internal defence mechanism to prevent the cylinder being compromised.

• Backed by a security guarantee (typically several thousand pounds) when registered and used with approved hardware. 

Multi-Point Locking & Hardware

In addition to the cylinder, Solidor doors are normally paired with:

• Robust multi-point locking systems, such as Avantis, with large deadbolts and secure keeps. 

• PAS 24-accredited door sets and Secured by Design options when specified correctly.
